We are a family run Screen Printer, Vinyl Printer, DTG and Embroidery Specialist based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We operate from 3 different units and work alongside some of the leading Charities, Schools, Companies and Brands around the World. Set up in 2008 by Kirk Wilson, after spending time importing from China and the Far East, we focused our attention predominantly on importing Garments from around the World. In 2011 we then set up our First UK office and started to Print in the UK. Since then we have gone from strength to strength and are now one of the leading importers and Print specialised in the UK. If you have a product, brand or only an idea we can utilise our expertise in all aspects of your business and help you grow alongside ourselves.
Our primary goals are to provide you with high-quality products, excellent craftsmanship, and outstanding customer service. We aim to make the process of ordering customised items as comfortable as possible. Depending on your needs, we can take care of the customisation process from start to finish or, if you want to have more input into your designs, we would be happy to work with you to produce garments that are to your specification and our quality standards.
We treat every customer no matter how big or small as important as each other and help you from start to finish to make sure your job is as simple as possible. Every Customer always want jobs next day, or as fast as possible, therefore we still have a sense of urgency to complete an order on time and turnaround times can be less than seven days, but ideally, we ask for 14-21 days subject to availability. We only use the best suppliers, and we take pride in the quality of all of our products, as well as the quality of the print and embroidery. If you are not happy with your products, we have a 28-day guarantee and will replace any faulty goods within Seven days.
Our Warehouse
Based out of Newcastle Upon Tyne we have three separate facilities to Print alongside some fantastic outsource factories in Turkey, Pakistan, China and Bangladesh. We have a full functional Screen Printing facility with state of the art, automatic machines. Then we have a Storage, Vinyl facility in which we operate all our Cutters, Vinyl Press and DTG Machines and finally our Embroidery Unit where we have a considerable capacity.

How Does It Work
Screen printing is a printing technique used to push ink through a mesh stencil onto textiles. Each colour in your design requires a different stencil (or screen) to be made. Once the screens are made, we make sure all colours line up (or register) to one another. We then print all the garments on an automated press, which is capable of incredibly precise, repeatable printing on 1,000’s of t-shirts a day using the same screens. Even after the introduction of digital garment printing, screen printing remains the best process for printing textiles.
Screen printed clothing is known for longevity and colour vibrancy, and here at Custom Teamwear, we can create many effects, including metallics, foiling, printed neck labels and more.
Prices:
Prices are per position and based on the number of the colours in the design. When printing on colour garments, we may need to add a white underbase, so this would add an extra print colour to your design/logo.
Setup is charged at £20 per colour. All prices are excluding VAT.
You can use the price table below to work out the print cost, but please contact us for a full quote based on your chosen garment. Each garment can have a different type of Screen Print, including Water Based, Plastisol, Premium and Discharge.
SET UP: For all Jobs of 100 or less we have a £20 Screen Set Up, plus £10 per Colour on Top.

Embroidery
We are experts in all types of embroidery jobs both big and small. We are based just outside of Newcastle with our purpose built warehouse. All orders of over £250.00 will be free delivery and our Turnaround times are efficient. We can also make Badges for Printers or Individuals wanting to do it themselves.
How Does It Work?
Your logo/design is converted to stitch data and embroidered onto your chosen garments. Simple!...
The number of colours in each design does not affect the cost of embroidery as setup per logo is £20. Embroidery is an excellent option if you want a logo that lasts!
Embroidery prices are per position and based on the number of stitches in your logo. Most small logos are under 10,000 stitches (or 10k). Larger logos like club badges or crests are 20k or 30k, and large back logos and text can range from 20k - 40k and over. Please Contact Us with your logo for a full and comprehensive quote.

Garment Finishing
Bespoke Clothing is all the rage right now, are you thinking of setting up your own brand or simply wanting your clothing to stand out. Well, here at Custom Teamwear we have a solution with our fantastic Garment finishing service.
Printed Neck Labels
Rebranding your our stock garments is a no-brainer, for all fashion brands. We can remove the stock garment label and replace with your own woven tags or printed neck labels. From as little as 20p you can make your brand stand out and add some fantastic perceived value.
Swing Tags
Swing tags can also be added to each garment. We can supply anything from a simple rectangular tag to die-cut shapes and folded swing tags. Applying to the garment is comfortable with a tagging gun, or if you want to go fancy, you can use some nice string or ribbon. We can print and supply swing tags from £50 for 250. Most customers choose to apply the tags themselves, and we can advise on where to pick up the equipment to do this. You can find these online from various printing sources as the actual Tags cannot be printed in-house so a premium must be charged.
Polybagging
From as little as 20p we can poly Bag your items, with our fantastic clear Bags and even add your own stickers to be supplied separately on the outside this does finish the garments off brilliantly.
Barcoding
For those lucky enough to be sold through other stores, you may need to add barcodes to your garments, for easy scanning at checkout or warehouse. We can print and attach barcodes to your swing tags or polybags for a small additional cost. Ideally, you supply these to be stuck on the garments as we will need to charge a service charge for this service.
Vinyl Printing and Cutting
We produce all types of Prints including our own cutting and Heat press service. The types of Garments this type of print is suitable for is anything smaller QTY, things that are different on each garment, for instance, initials and also things like Leavers designs or Numbers. We have our own machines, that can do the Transfers which take around ten days, or we can press them in 1 day if simple.
If there is a particular colour design, logo etc. we can produce it and heat press it on. Our transfer service can start from as little as 75p and upwards of £3-4.
